Bartingale Mechanical has recently completed a new fabrication shop in our building at 3213 Louis Ave. Jake Schmidt will be heading up operations which include fabrication of piping, stand, tanks, and other metal items.
The fab shop will allow Bartingale to fabricate material before sending to the job site to reduce construction durations and eliminate welding in customer facilities. This results in cleaner product installation and eliminates the risk of spark and smoke damage to customer properties.
Bartingale’s first project in the fab shop was to complete fabrication of a stainless steel boiler stack for the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. It was easier to build this stack in the fab shop rather than try to fabricate it in the harsh winter climate on top of the UWEC heating plant roof. Once completed, we were able to simply install the stack by bolting it in place.
Besides using the fabrication shop for our own construction projects, Bartingale Mechanical is now offering to do fabrication work for outside clients, including out of town competitors. Anyone interested in fabrication work can contact Bartingale at 715-835-3169 and ask our friendly receptionist to guide them to the fabrication shop operations.
